Dream To Be Different

"Be the change you wish to see in the world"-Gandhi

Down, Set, Hut!

With the beginning of Football (yes, it’s capitalized here in the South-also capitalized), the feeling of Red and Black running through 92,000 of my closest friends veins is exhilarating!  Last week with B still gone on storm team, I decided not to go to the game solo—HOWEVER—I wore my red and black bathing suit to the pool along with my black cover up and red accessories, my red and black pool bag, AND red and black pool towel.  Obsessed?  Not even close.  Die-hard fan?  You hit the nail on the head.

Along with football comes the cooling off of weather down here (hopefully), which means hot chocolate-from Starbuck’s and homemade by B, pashminas, boots, sitting outside while there’s a crispness in the air at dusk, taking Munson out first thing in the morning and running back to jump in bed and get warm again, birthdays (for B, Mama, Jacob, Stuart, and me), THE WEDDING!, soup, cardigans, bonfires, W-ville Fall Festival, leaves changing colors, pumpkin carving!, fall wreaths, and all of the other GLORIOUS things that come with this time of year!

Can you feel it?  Fall is coming :)

Design on a Dime

Though I’m not very crafty (and it’s been a while since I’ve blogged) I decided the Rayburn-Thomas household needed a little fall cheer, so I went on the hunt for some affordable, festive decorations.  While the centerpiece isn’t knock-your-socks-off-amazing, I am quite proud of it!  HAPPY FALL!
